WSE 1,2 & 4; Beverage Manager

Maureen Bayer fell in love with wine while taking her first wine course in Florence, Italy. After returning home to Rochester Institute Technology (RIT), she continued her studies in wine education. After graduating from RIT with her degree in Business Management, Maureen moved to St. Helena, California to attend the Culinary Institute of America’s (CIA) Accelerated Wine and Beverage Program. While attending school in California, she earned her certificate as a Certified Wine Professional from the CIA and a Certified Specialist of Wine by the Society of Wine Educators. In the fall of 2014, Maureen became a Certified Sommelier from the Court of Master Sommeliers. Currently, she is the sommelier and beverage manager at The New York Wine and Culinary Center and a WSET Diploma student.
