Wine Judges of Canada

Claire Boulley became a Wine Judge in 2001 after a three year Training Program with the Wine Judges of Canada (WJC). In 2006, Claire was Secretary for the WJC for six years and was an avid wine maker. In 2011, Claire became Competition Director for the Wine Judges of Canada, who has hosted the Lake Erie North Shore Wine Competition in 2013, 2012 and 2011; the International Pinot Challenge in November of 2013 and the Canadian Wine Competition for the Amateur Wine Makers of Ontario. Claire’s palate has remained seasoned due to a group formed in 2001, Chapters of London, who meet monthly to evaluate commercial wines. Competition experiences have been the All Canadian Wine Championships, the Finger Lakes International Wine Competition, Amateur Wine Makers of Ontario, the Northeast Gold Wine Competition, wine related Trade Shows, judging panel for Cornell University, NY and Fruit Wines of Ontario. Claire also contributed in the Wine Judges of Canada’s commercial competitions medal design and manufacturing.
