AWS Certified Wine Judge; Wine (CWJ) & Food Educator

Annemarie has a Master's Degree in Enology from Cornell University. She instructs Cornell students, faculty, staff and the public on wine education, wine judging, wine making, business meal etiquette, and wine & food pairing. She is an American Wine Society (AWS) certified wine judge and has taught a wine judge certification and an introduction to wine class at the American Wine Society National Conferences. She has passed the Court of Master Sommeliers, Introductory Level Sommelier exam and is preparing for the certified qualifying exam.  She is a published freelance wine & food writer. She founded a local chapter, Finger Lakes, of the AWS and has served as the chairperson, presenter and coordinator for many years.  Annemarie has judged wines in; Finger Lakes International, Atlantic Seaboard (Table Captain), Great Lakes & Eastern States, Winemaker Magazine, Big E Northeast Gold and New York State Fair Wine Competitions.  She has presented at the Viticulture & Annual Wine Industry Workshop. She has worked through harvest and blending as an assistant winemaker at Damiani Wine Cellars.
